At Makeable, a moodboard isn't just a collection of look-and-feel images to spur our creativity. The moodboard is an essential part of our design process, providing an opportunity to demonstrate the visual aesthetic for a given project while also providing a further–and more visually based–articulation of our creative strategy. For Culturious, the moodboard provided the space to articulate all of the visual elements, photography, iconography, palette, typography, identity, etc. in a view that allowed all elements to hang together cohesively, essentially becoming a style guide from which the rest of our design could grow. A new age for travel
Whether it is the view from Mont Ste-Victoire that inspired Vincent van Gogh and Paul Cézanne, or exploring the nooks and crannies of Ho Chi Minh City, Tauck has over 85 years of experience delighting travelers all over the globe. The company approached Makeable looking to expand its family of brands to adapt to a younger generation of travelers.
Getting you on the plane
We came up with culturious.com to take Tauck's unique sensibility and let technology enhance the traveler's experience from the moment they decided to take a trip to the moment they arrived safely back at home. We provided personalized information and travel tips in the weeks before travelers got on the plane, prefacing the trip experience.
Sharing the joy of travel
Culturious.com doubled as a platform for travelers to easily share their experiences with their loved ones back home every step of the way. At the same time, their stories and photographs—often being logged in real time by real people—served to inspire potential travelers to pack their bags and travel with Tauck.
