The beauty is in the fit.
Which is more frustrating? Spending three month’s rent on a designer dress, or having to spend even more at the tailor’s getting it altered to actually fit? Answer: Both are. But what if any woman could create the perfect dress for herself, one that will flatter her in every way from color and fabric to cut and style? That’s what the Piol Dress system was designed for: To transcend trends and focus on the features that make each woman feel confident, attractive and most like herself. We have been collaborating with the founder of Piol Dress company since 2012 to design, develop and launch a new product, brand and business in direct-to-consumer fashion retail.
More than a dress, a design platform.
Smart shopping doesn’t always mean finding an immediate solution to a problem. With so many fast-fashion retailers offering low prices, it’s easy to lose yourself in a sea of clothes. But it’s important to remember this sea of clothes is mostly made up of oddly-fitting, badly-sewn pieces in questionable fabrics. For those who know buying quality is better than filling a closet with disposable apparel, Piol provides an intelligent alternative with a platform that allows you to design, tailor and curate your wardrobe. Fashionista.com said it best, “Custom-made frocks that you can design to fit your exact proportions online in minutes. Genius.”
A systematic approach to creating a dress.
Bespoke is a term that dates back to the seventeenth century tailors. Each suit was made for the customer’s personal measurements and requirement. So we wondered, “Why can’t digital experiences feel that way?” Piol Dress was custom built to disrupt the industry by connecting design and technology to empower women to create a truly custom product that was made to measure digitally, and worn to perfection physically. Using color theory rather than color trends, Piol Dress makes custom-made clothing accessible.
