About the idea
For the second year in a row, we worked with The Body Shop to create their “Holiday Joy” campaign, which gave fans the chance to win a free order (up to $100) just by visiting this fantastically fun URL: CanIGetMyOrderForFree
AtTheBodyShopYet.com. Once a day at a predetermined time, one lucky winner could refresh the page to see a bold "YES" instead of "NO," and five times a day, a fan could win a free body butter.
New for 2011
One thing was clear from the 2010 campaign: People loved to visit the site. In fact, it got hundreds of page views at a time. (Not bad for a one page site.) So this year we created a snow globe that visitors could virtually “shake” on their computer, or literally on their iPhone. In keeping with the holiday spirit, we allowed users to shake for charity as well. More than a million shakes were donated, and the charity with the highest total received $1,000 in products from The Body Shop.
